Gone Too Long
I can't believe how long it has been since I blogged! I wish I was better at this! I am no longer a SU demonstrator. :( I love SU, but I was spending way too much on great stuff and not supporting my habit. So I stopped and got back to basics...Scrapping with Scraps!
I have also been using my sisters cricut a lot! Oh my that thing is addictive, I love it.
If you have a cricut and can't afford those wonderful cartridges, I have great news! Go to www.craftedge.com, for about the cost of ONE cartridge you can purchase the software called Sure Cuts Alot or SCAL. With this software you can cut any font on your computer. (ttf I think)
It's FABULOUS!
Ok, maybe that was worth a years worth of blogging!

Blog Surfing Saturday
It was a hot day in central Arkansas today! Whew summer is here in a hot and humid kind of way. I worked outside today, so my honey took me out to dinner. He is so sweet. That means I did not stamp at all today. But I did do one of my other favorite things....I blog surfed! So in honor of my surfing I thought I would share the link to one of my favorite bloggers. She is so talented and I love visiting her blog, not only for the creative inspiration, but for her funny stories and great Markie jokes. Check it out you will love it too. http://stampinwithmarkiesmom.blogspot.com/
Since I didn't stamp anything I am sharing a card I made for my grandson Levon. Have a great weekend!

Flip Flop Card
Happy Memorial Day! It has been a great Monday off! :) I know I said I would post pics of my Cafeteria Appreciation, but my camera battery is being charged as we speak, so it will have to be tomorrow. I did make this card today and since I can scan it, I can share it now! My school theme is flip flops, so I made a flip flop card as an end of the year thank you card. I think it turned out ok, the ribbon got a little smooshed in the scanner, but straightened right back. Hope everyone has a great week and with any luck, I will post another pic tomorrow...I have been on a roll you know. :)

I Cleaned My Stamp Room!

I cleaned my stamp room! I know! Right? I have been working on scrapbooks for the children in our Pre-K program and boy do I make a mess! But finally they are done and handed out. I can't believe I didn't even take one picture. Anyway the clean room made me want to create! I made this birthday card and I am going to work on a few water bottle tags-next week it cafeteria appreciation day. Cafeteria workers need a lot of appreciation....they work very hard behind the scenes. So, don't forget to appreciate your cafeteria folks! I will post a pic later of my water bottles.

PS My coloring was bad on this one, so don't look too close. The markers are a mix of Copic and Stampin Write Markers.

My How Time Flies!
It is a beautiful spring day in Arkansas, I suppose the calm after the storm. So many people were affected by yesterday's bad weather. My prayers go out to all of them. I am getting ready for a busy week! I have a club, a workshop and a meeting/party with my upline and her group! So, I am looking forward to a lot of stamping and alot of fun! OH and great news! If you have been considering becoming a demonstrator for Stampin Up, this could be your month! During the month of May you can join with a 20% discount on your starter kit. Everything you need to start your business or feed your craving for stamps at a discounted price. If you are interested email me and I can get you set up!
To celebrate strawberry season I made this card for a friend who picks her own berries! This is the most versatile little set. It is "Tart and Tangy" from the Occasions Mini. By the way Stampin Up extended the ending date for this promotion, so you still have time to take advantage of the fantastic stamps and accessories offered!

Hope you have a fantastic first week of May! See you next week! :)

Tuesday = Short Week

Why does it seem like a short week always feels like a day or even two have been tacked on? Having said that, I had a perfectly wonderful Tuesday! :) I am trying to get samples ready for my first workshop, I am a slow stamper! Here is a framed project I did for my daughter's friend, that just got accepted to the last phase of his RN training. The cards are Valentine's day cards. I hope you enjoy.

I'm BLOGGGGGING
February 17, 2008 and I am blogging! I suppose I should back track just a little bit. I have set several goals for myself this year.
* Be a positive influence to those around me.
* Enjoy myself
* Start a blog !!!!!
* Become a SU Demo!!
* Have Fun!
* Share Fun!
* Be Creative!
I have just become a Stampin Up Demonstrator and my first workshop is March 7th! I have loved Stampin Up for years, but was really nervous about taking the plunge! It was a matter of time, I guess, but I have done it now! I am also having a blast! I have the very best Upline! How can I fail with Megan Wheeler by my side!
Now here I am posting my very first blog! My reason for blogging would be a place to share what I love and meet wonderful people! Ahh same reason for becomming a Demo! I wanted to document my experience and my growth as a stamper and scrapbooker. I am sure I have a lot to learn and I can share that with others who may be where I am now. New and inexperienced!
Here are my very first projects that I would like to post and I am hoping to update and add often.
